I remember around 1991 my cousins and I took my 10L to a parking lot (rough as hell) with 10 cells and a "Black Magic" (I think). It was night time and cold as hell, but we had to have hit 60 which was pretty good for back then. No video (for us) or GPS back then.fredswain wrote:My friend and I strapped a Garmin into an RC10L. We ran a Speedworks 12T motor on an 8 cell nimh battery and hit 62 mph. Brushless would be so much easier to go faster but the car is a handful at that speed without a high down force body. We had a stock car body. They slide on their roof really well!
