RC10L box art rear view?
I'm working on a box art RC10L and I bought a set of Parma decals for it but the sheet is missing a few decals. I've looked everywhere for a picture of the back of the car but I've had no luck. I'm trying to find out what it looks like, if it had taillights as well as the headlights, and if there are stickers on the back. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Re: RC10L box art rear view?
The rear of the GTP-ZX body is supposed to be cut open, no rear lights etc. The only Pro10 bodies I've seen with rear lights and other rear end detail on are Andy's very detailed Porsche etc. offerings with separate rear wings...

Re: RC10L box art rear view?
I found this picture of the back of the real car and I'd like to try and duplicate it on the rc body as close as possible. http://obin_jess.tripod.com/GTP/rear%20of%20nissan%20gtp-zx%20turbo.jpg I at least want to paint the metal light bar across the top of the back and put four red LED's back there and maybe the black vents on either side of the wing mount. Does the rc body allow for this?

Yes, but you'll have to make some kind of panel that fits into the rear (and attach it), because the rear as it is has no detail except for "Associated" in big letters and the part number.unclemikey1978 wrote:I found this picture of the back of the real car and I'd like to try and duplicate it on the rc body as close as possible. http://obin_jess.tripod.com/GTP/rear%20of%20nissan%20gtp-zx%20turbo.jpg I at least want to paint the metal light bar across the top of the back and put four red LED's back there and maybe the black vents on either side of the wing mount. If this is for a runner, you might screw up the body's aerodynamics by adding a solid back panel.

I had to improvise on the one I did and make my own ghetto decals. It looks good going around the track though! I want to paint a box art version myself in the worst kind of way!

This body will be for a shelfer so I'm not worried about the aerodynamics as much as I am about its looks. Thanks for the info on what the back of the body looks like. I guess I'll be making some sort of lexan panel for it.
That looks great durb, is that the Mcallister body? I'm currently working on my RC10LSS Factory Team project and I found a guy on another forum who makes custom vinyl decals. The body I have is a vintage Mcallister 87 Olds stock car with #29 Hardee's Cale Yarborough livery. The Autographics decals I bought weren't detailed enough for my liking so I commissioned him to make some up for me. I'm going to be ordering them on Friday and I'll post a picture of his work after I get them.

Oh, I don't have the body yet. I saw one on eBay but dude wanted $80 for the damn thing. I'm trying to get one made by mr. lexan but he won't do any less than 10 in a run. Anybody else interested in the ZX-GTP Nissan body?

Sign me up as a yes! If they are reasonably priced I will buy 2 of them just to have a shelf queen and a runner.

Here's mr. lexan's price info on it.

I'll buy two as well so that makes 4. Now we just have to find six more people to try and get a run done. Any takers?
