Re: *** what's your favorite rc car ***
If I was asked this a month ago I would have most likely said my Atomic Carbon S2. But seeing that it is a shelf car and I have never drove it I have another choice in mind. So i will have to go with the buggy I built to race, my Durango 2005 Prototype Slim Chassis RC10 B4. This car has been a build in progress for the past 3 years and is now a blast to drive.

For running its my High Lift outfitted with tamiya MFC. Lots of fun just letting the truck sut and idle. I alway keep a fresh charge on the battery so it can be run anytime.

only ran it a few times on my grass track outback so far. but with the chassis tape on the bottom it still looks just like the day i finished building it. well everything except for a few small pieces of dry grass bits here or there.askbob wrote:Man, that thing looks good! favorite car I WISH I had? Hirobo Jealousy. From the day I saw the ad I wanted one. Kind of a let down knowing its basically just an alien, but still....
Favorite car I have owned? tie between the Pro Radiant and the RPS Yokomo. I would gladly take either one back! That Top Cat above takes me back tho too, had 2 of them. The Avante is right, Being nuts is neat

My favorite is the SMP Slide, might have been a nightmare at times to get setup right, but it is a great piece of engineering! The materials used at the time were ahead of the times (Delrin, Kevlar, and the use of Hard Anodizing) You can look at it for days, and not get tired of it.
I do not own one, but hope one day to own a 1st gen. chassis that shall get a full restoration. Or a Slide Chrome would be nice.
Second and I do own (2) Yokomo YRX-10, also totally different than the norm of Pro-10 at the time.
(SMP picture is one I found on the web, and like the one they had on their site)
