I was there when Scott and BK were talking about it... True story!R-NO wrote:Hey, thanks for posting.
Would be nice to know a bit more about this particular chassis as some bits don't match with the car actually ran at Yatabe.
BK ran Losi shocks in Japan, some screws don't look quite the same and some ball cups are of a different color.
The chassis must have a nail polish mark, proving it passed tech.

Really is awsome to see these pics of your ex Brian.K car.... You can still really see Brian Kinwalds's attention to detail in the build of this car, despite some changes occuring in-between by a previous owner.
Incidentally how ironic that this thread should appear over on the Oople site;

Me likey. I do wonder what the differences were between what Kinwald ran on his YZ10 and what Pavidis ran on his. This model is referred to as the Pavidis YZ10, either simply because he won with it, or he had some other swizzle, but it's not apparent to me. The towers, lower deck, and rear camber link plate here are "Pavidis" parts.

Re: Kinwald's TQ Yokomo from the '95 Worlds in Japan
Vin (Dual) could highlight it much better, and likely has in his Yokomo time line, but the cars are technically Yokomo Dog fighter 95' WCS models. Kinwalds, Pavidis, Masamis were all prototype cars at the 1995 IFMAR worlds, and from this one, Scott Browns, and Marks they all share the chassis and components, all 3 have the same Yokomo 3 piece motor mount, same tech mark and Mark's and Kinwalds have the same front arm mods. Kinwald used Losi shocks, Yoke springs, Suzuki caster blocks and hubs LRP IPC speedy, Trinity cells, Kinwald motor, airtronics gear. Mark used AE shocks, yoke springs, Reedy - orion cells, Reedy motor, LRP IPC, airtronics gear. The Pavidis is just a coined term for the 95 WCS
