Toyranosaur's oddballs, customs, and vintage builds
Mkay, I'll start with a few notable oddball things built just because.....I do CNC work now but for most of my history, I had more time and modeling skill than cash or fancy parts, but I love all my children equally. In 20+ yrs. I've only ever sold TWO of my babies, & I'm still irritated about it..Grumblegripesnivel....Chris REC
First off is the all-pink-anodized RC10GT- I was doing my own ano work for a while, not any more though:

Couple Mini-T's, one is a Mini-Me of my yellow/black 10T: The blue one has the logos in the paint, and was my demo for the 1st ever SCAB (Slipper Clutch Adjustment Button.)

Hadda do something Neat-o to my Monster Beetle, so all Aluminum is 14K Gold-plated. Paint is Krylon Fusion, buffed out to optical reflectivity (My wrist still hurts from that job.)

The Micro-Bullhead: My full-size Bull is easily one of my faves, so I hadda build this. Based on a Microsizer, with custon 'chassis' and an HO scale front end. Rear end & all tubework, pipes, rollbar, etc. is fine Al. tubing, even scaled down a decal sheet. Runs great, and fits inside a real Bullhead wheel!

Ah, maybe time for some scooters: Here is a Radio Shack Ricky Carmichael that I got carried away with..... I did all the Aluminum work, a buddy cut the carbon for me. I use this to show folks my ability so they don't think I'm just hackin' stuff out with a hobby mill. Fork legs are Titanium, sliders are machined Teflon.

Re: Toyranosaur's oddballs, customs, and vintage builds
Mom always warned me about getting involved with HORs, but as we all know they're tough to resist!
Here are details of 2 of mine, with custom Alloy gas caps, brake disc/hubs, Titanium sprockets, knitting needle exhaust, Lexan replacement windscreens (Kit units are too clunky for scale!) and I forget what else. Then that's it for tonite Lads, more soon, thanks for letting me show some of these! Chris REC

The 'Real' Bullhead, one of my faves! I'll eventually do a whole custom chassis, with my black 'Lockers, paint, etc. (My future is awful full...)
