Toronto Area Meets / Races?

Hi guys, I was wondering if there is anyone here from the GTA that would like to meet up and / or can tell me about taking my cars to a race?

I live in the west end in Burlington but can drive wherever to meet up.

Hey there are a few us us around in the GTA, we used to get together in the summer for some vintage BST/runtimes. but finding a spot to run has been a problem. As for racing there is DORC way out east end in summer. as for indoor there is 2 in oshawa 1-2 a week last I heard. For west end stuff not too sure TSAN would be the guy to know.

Cool - I'd really like to meet some of the guys here and have a bit of fun racing the cars somewhere too if possible. I don't even care if its just in a parking lot or at a construction site.

I want to resurrect this thread to get the jump on a vintage meet this summer in the GTA area. Looks like the VONATS is never going to happen for me and there is nothing going on in Ottawa as far as vintage goes.

So I would like to invite everyone in the GTA who would be interested in a show and shine and possibly some casual running/racing to chime in with some ideas/dates/possible track locations.

We could even have a mini swap meet to make it interesting.

To get the ball rolling I would suggest May 26, June 2, June 9 or June 16 as possible dates. Later in the summer would be OK too.

I'm pretty flexible for dates right now and I've never done any meets for RC before so I'm up for anything really.

As for tracks, there's one in Oshawa (Motor City Raceway) but I know they only run it during the winter months. The other one is Universal, which is in Mississauga. I'm not sure if you guys would be up for it but last summer we setup a track (just used pylons) at the GO Station parking lot in Pickering and I actually had fun running my M03 Mini there. Sort of a run whatever you have. Unless you guys prefer an actual race track with jumps..

I'm in the kitchener area and I'm getting an old gold pan ready for some action so if anything in the GTA gets organized I will try and make it out.

No, got tied up with a brake job on the van and was too tired to go. But I saw the schedule so hopefully next weekend
