Custom cut a new chassis out of CF or G10 with an offset battery tray then mount a NASCAR body on it.
EDIT: Does look like there's a ball diff for it - http://traxxas.com/sites/default/files/4210_explodedviews_transmission-2001.pdf

I had a quick peek in the gearbox, it looks like meant to have a diff yes.. except it's been glued together solidPhin wrote:Custom cut a new chassis out of CF or G10 with an offset battery tray then mount a NASCAR body on it.

With a locked diff and a DD tranny I'd feel compelled to put staggered foams on it and see how it fairs against pan cars on an oval track.

They were traxxas' attempt to run onroad before the 4tec was released IIRC. Not for sure of when it was out but I remember seeing these sitting next to the DS at one of the long gone LHS. They were definitely a cheap alternative to the DS at the time but they still sat on the shelf longer than a DS did
. It would be a fun basher for sure...doesn't seem to be missing much.

Hard to believe some one ran one of those at the Insane Speed Run challange, when they started back up! I believe it was in RCCA.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I had a Street Sport somewhere around 2000. Its the only on-road Traxxas vehicle I've ever owned. I remember one of the biggest cons with it was that the tires were peaked so they had a tiny contact patch. I can't remember if they were an odd size or not which made them difficult to change. Its been a long time and I didn't have the car for very long. I bought it new from Tower and brought it to the night shift job I had at the time and drove it around the parking lot a few times.
According to the Traxxas site it was released in 1997.

Hi,
Could you help me to identify upper link on this pic (don't take care of red circle, I previously used the pic for something else):

I need to find another one, but I don't know which car it comes from

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
They're still factory yokomo ends, unless the "links" your referring to are the camber links in which case those on that 93' look like Lunsfords to me
