Reggie Runner...

Post by Orange »

So, I picked this car up a few weeks ago from Ford and I have been pondering what to do with it since... After talking to Reggie some a few weeks ago, I have decided to turn this into Gold tub runner...

Here is how it came from Ford:

This is where its at right now. At first I was going to use the shocks that came on it, But have decided to put threaded shocks on it with .89's on the front... (Ya I know the screws are in the wrong location) Ryan Maifield also gave me some V2 B4 shocks, in which I may pick up a couple shock towers from JayDub maybe... Here is another pic with different shock towers and the battery cup moved forward...

Its a work in progress... Will try to get a little bit more done today, :)

If you remember, I told you I would just send you one  how are you building it, other than the longer shocks?

At the rate I get this done, it might be faster to have you send me that car,

Building it like you told me, B2 cvd, B4 topshaft and V2 slipper, 10t 0 deg rear hubs, T2 3deg toe blocks and B3 wheels (I have 37 full sets, :)) Everything else stock... Did I miss anything?

I switched the stock bellcrank for a solid bearing type, plus the b4 wing mount-

I'm leaving the stocker on there... that is how I always ran them BITD. If I have complications I will change it.

I thought I could do it... But I can't... Going to put some ti-turnbuckles on there. The stockers are just ugly.

I'm not using the z-wire though... That setup is hurting! :)

The shortbus racer that's marshalling your heat us having enough trouble watching his corner anyway........no reason to ask the impossible out of him too.

I am using A&L mounts for the wing, along with a soon to be custom works body post. I was using a SC10 body post, but the truck needed it back.

LOL, I was talking about the z-bend wire that came with the RC10 kits that went from the servo horn to the bell crank.

But since you mention it, I am not afraid to rock the wing wire, :)

Wing wire is what we used to always run...just have to put a small bend in it. If you keep leaving the cars on the laundry machines they will get swapped with grasshoppers. :p
