Hot Trick Fox

Post by fritjofarnold »

Hi guys
I bought this Hot Trick chassis for the Tamiya Fox some months ago. I am a real Fox addict so I could not resist. I later also bought some RC10 shocks and a Protech bodyset, so it is coming along slowly. Now I only need the dual front shock plates to finish it off.

I wonder if some of you how any suggestions how to mount the wing. I have bought some B3 wing stays/brackets for it which I hope are the right ones. Any recommendations for period wheels/tires is highly appreciated too.

Cheers

I've just seen this post. Nice Hot Trick Fox. In terms of the wing, you may wish to mount it the same way as I mounted mine on the my Lohas Red Fox (Hot Trick repro). See this link here: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=20544&start=15 . I used Tecnacraft quick release mounts and fed the wing wire into these. It's unlikely that you'll find Tecnacraft wing mounts (they are pretty hard to come by) but you should be able to use most universal wing mounts in the same way.
