Well here is one car i have wanted for a wile, New Built Dyna Storm, This car just looks bad ass
nice pickup, i bought a NIB re-re the other month for a good price, then a lightly run example came up on ebay that i scored for $120 delivered. Anyone know how to tell between re-re and original?

Id like to know that also lol, I looked but could not find anything, where is tamiyadan when ya need him
Nice Dyna Storm. Have one mint on the self too. The re-release and the original are exatly the same . The re-release was a limited addition and came with a Acto power 2WD 14x2 motor. Here what I have found for info on some of re-releases from tamiya . Hope this helps. http://www.blackholesun.fr/RC_Re-releases_US.php

Anybody have a picture of this motor? I could pul the motor from my dyna and call it an original? actually im not sure what motor my car has, ill have to pull it and look
The Acto Power motors were great. We used them in the Tamiya Euro Cup - at the time we could run the Acto Power formula motor too, not just the 540 can.
After Restoring the Avante, Top Force Evolution and Top Force (Threads will follow) i felt the need for a 2WD Tamiya. I sourced this at the bay in pretty good condition. The car wasnt titled as Dynastorm so it came at a good price. Let the fun...

This build is now finished (for now). Im not 100% satisfied because the body is a little to small in my optinion and the decals are are a little to big, especially on the rear wing. Also i think i used the wrong Tamiya paint (ps-23) for the...
I was wondering if anyone knew what is going on with Nimrod Racing and if they are still in business. I tried emailing them and got it kicked back. I'm interested in what that make (or made) for the Dyan Storm. Any help is appreciated.
Here is my new biult dyna strom. What turn is the stock pink motor? Was this buggy very competitive in its day? Don't know if I will ever run it but just would like comments on its design. thanks dave

I sold my DS a while back! Should have seen this page earlier!
I pulled the trigger on a Dyna Storm a few weeks back! :D
It's had some light use with only a handful of minor scratches on the chassis, and came with some other goodies that I'll go through later. The body is unpainted and uncut, but has a few...
Ok i picked this up on ebay, It looks like it might have been a CE car and upgraded with some option parts and a graphite chassis. the white parts show more ware then the chassis, the chassis has hardly any scratches, the owner mad a rear guard out...

Wheels could be Proline. Can't really tell. It looks like a late CE car to me with a really nice graphite chassis. Are the shock tops metal or plastic?
They are plastic but look thinner then modern caps, i almost thought they were alloy
