:lol: that happened to me also. I used a pot to dye black and thought I cleaned it well enough but i was wrong. Turns out nobody will eat gray mac n cheese

Is RIT toxic?

I use a pot that I hide in my shop to avoid mash potato looking like my nylon parts

Rit dye is a fine powder that if inhaled may cause breathing problems. Skin contact may cause irritation, rashes and mild burns. Ingestion will result in excess stomach acid production and diarrhea, along with burns of the mouth, throat and esophagus.

Too bad she made them. Myself, I would've used at least a gallon of brown gravy to cover it up. Yes dear, I know you're tired...have a seat and I'll get dinner plated tonight.

hillarious rick! the pot looked clean did it but the dye was in the metal good ha? :lol:
