My Traxxas Bullet

This is my bullet which I'm resto modding. I've been the only owner since it was bought for me new christmas of 1990. Wish I had a pic before I took it all apart to clean and fix. So far I've just painted the chassis underside. Some may cry sacrilege about the paint but have no fear, cause it'll be truly one of a kind when I'm done. Everything is original except the speed control which burned up a few days after I got it. I ran the hell out of it. It was a rtr but never raced won't be a shelf queen either when finished.

Welcome rinzler. Nice bullet...if this isn't a shelfer what do you plan on using for a body? That body won't be easy to replace...

Yeah, the body is tough to find, though the harder part is the plastic roll cage. Wish I still had mine.

Nice bunch of parts, should be sweet once you get it up and running. There is a decent amount of bullet stuff on ebay reasonable priced.

I know the body is gonna be hard to find. I was thinking custom sandrail or modding some emax body mounts to put a truck body on. Local rc shop has a nice 37 rat pickup body I might try. Thanks for the welcome. On a side note there are some crazy sick r/c's here.
