Yeah one good thing is that it looks all intact. I haven't bought it yet. I picked up a corally that was right next to it. You can actually see the bumper for the corally on the right side of one of the pictures

I don´t know if You´ve found the answer on this one, but to me it looks like a "Seriously" upgraded chassis for Kyosho Turbo Ultima (Due to the radio plate, gearbox and front assembly). Could be hot trick.

Today's craigslist scores along with some old radios and parts, I haven't taken it home to go through it all yet. Hardly any NIP stuff, mostly just standard, beat-up vintage RC gear. Looks like I have two Kyosho's and something else that he said he thought were "dominators"?

Looks like 2 Optimas, one of them with a pretty beat-up rear gearbox, if you can see the final pinion gear exposed like that.

And that first Optima's rear shock tower looks particularly bad. :?

Was the wide chassis or the oval chassis standard on the Dom? All I remember is the oval, but clearly that chassis is wide. Anyone have some more info?

I think the wider chassis was included in the early version and they switch to a more specific oval one. I also have some gold anodised alu parts on one of mines and these were clear on later versions. I guess an expert will confirm... or not... lol

Here's a link and a nice comment from Doug on the version... also look at the alu parts in the lastic bag, they are gold anodised: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=7003&start=0
