Project Whiteout Prototype molded chassis
Ok its time to put this car together I bought this chassis over a year ago thinking of what to do with it. this is the Jrx pro se/ Lx-t prototype chassis losi used to make the mould for the production chassis. now its going to be a shelf queen.
input on how I should build it is welcome. to start off I have a set of prototype arms coming from bigjeepzz seemed fitting for the build I also have a set of white wing buttons, sliders, and front logo wheels. I am looking for matching rear wheels.

Re: Project Whiteout Prototype molded chassis
I think all black parts on the white chassis would really make the chassis POP!
The chassis is the center piece of the build right? It may get lost surrounded by white parts.
If you are looking for as many white parts you can find how about this?

I think it will look great either way. The chassis may stand out a bit more with black. Just throwing it out there.
I am sure whichever direction you go it will be stunning!

Re: Project Whiteout Prototype molded chassis
I don't know. I'd love to see an all white or white and grey (use the grey gear box with white sliders).
That would be one UNIQUE Losi. I've ALWAYS seen Losi as only black. RC10's were every color imaginable but Losi's.....Black...

Re: Project Whiteout Prototype molded chassis
yeah, go with the yellow motor plate, and white with all black oxide hardware. Use fiberglass for the custom shock towers in the green/yellow like associated.
the shocks....not sure....hard bodies anodized black to set it off? If you don't go with 'glass towers and use standard black, go with the standard silver shocks.

Re: Project Whiteout Prototype molded chassis
I was thinking of polished shocks? and yellow RPM ball cups. what would be perfect is if someone would offer up one of the rare Losi Purple motor plates.
I have a Jammin front or a set of composite craft towers I would like a set of fiberglass ones but I have never seen any for the Losi pro se. if you see some please let me know.
I have a NIP set of the Flo yellow Losi Logo pro se wheels also.

Re: Project Whiteout Prototype molded chassis
What about the rear bulkhead? Did RPM ever do a white one for JRX2?
Also if you use the blue Kinwald motor plate it would be a lot easier to find blue accent hardware and other stuff.
If you went the yellow route you would be limited to black or silver hardware. Mind you yellow and black would really look great!
PLEASE dont use purple. I know purple and yellow kinda go but purple on this build would be a crime.
I vote yellow with black hardware and black shocks.

Re: Project Whiteout Prototype molded chassis
Some white parts: Losi's white servo saver parts. White springs- cut shorter to fit front shocks.
Gold parts: Losi's gold color shock bodies and titanium nitride shock shafts.
Some yellow parts: Yellow motor plate and yellow 82 tooth spur, yellow springs- cut shorter to fit front shocks.
Light gray: Retrofit transmission, springs- cut shorter to fit front shocks.

Re: Project Whiteout Prototype molded chassis
As for your shocks, I remember buying some clear plastic shocks from MHOR R/C here in Denver years ago. I searched and didn't see a name or anything anywhere. They didn't work well so I bet there is only a few set's out there.
Maybe someone here has an idea of what the mfg name was?
