Shelfer Team Car

Post by hkp »

The weather today is really crappy here in Blighty, so I thought I'd take some pics of my RC10s again and post them up :) There was so little light that these pics look a little bit artificially enhanced

Anyway, this car is a loose reproduction of the Team car i raced for a short time in about 94ish. It's a real mix of black and white, which the purists will hate, but I think it's kinda trick. i could make more of it white, but I think it's unusual like this. It looks fairly standard but is running quite a few hop ups if you look:

2.2 wheels which Schumacher ribs up front, TR 32s on the back.
RPM Ballcups
RPM rear bulkhead
MIP Steering
RPM centre link
MIP CVDS
RW spur
Andys rear hubs

Green machine stock and Tekin 410K (one of 2 I have)

Hope you like her!

Nice blend of black and white. I like it :D
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.

Cheers David.. Actually it's just laziness as the RPM bulkhead requires holes drilled in the shock tower by the looks of it. (unless it's a 10T one?)

It's not a 10T tower, but it was originally meant to be built with the RPM rear shock tower (another holy grail). Just drilled two holes and you'll be finished

No, I will not help you with your dorky short course truck…sorry, it’s against my religion. If it's not a 1/10 scale buggy...I don't care.

Nice to see you keep your window ledge so clean, Tom. Or did you clean it before the pics were taken

Well spotted Varma!!

Actually my girl is a bit obsessed by cleaning (think Monika in Friends).. It's cool though as she dusts my RCs ;)
