I just found one "interesting" thing about Ranch Pitshop:

It’s the only RC track I know of to ever "appear" on a episode of Cops.

They were chasing some hookers down the street right in front of the place – their sign got a great, in-focus shot on National TV. What’s the saying about “all publicity is good publicity”…
