I would have to agree. They look similar enough.

First off Hi, I am new here.

Through the miracle of craigslist I ending up buying a large lot of RC stuff, most of it has been ran hard and put away wet.

which leaves me now tring to figure out exactly what I ended up with .

1st victim is a pan car , which I assume is some variation of a Team associated ?

Image

It has 3 shocks on the T bar instead of 1 and a friction disk like I am accustomed to seeing . It runs wheels like I have seen on the bolink cars , ball diff , graphite ( fiberglass ? ) axles.

Thank You !

Using that info , i was able to google up some manuals and I see there was a 10l3 oval that had the three shock setup . I have another chassis without the removable battery tray that i figure was the original one ( fairly beat )
I should be able to nail this down now .

Whoever was the original owner of this must have really been into turning left .

Thanks again

Hello Again,

Last time hopefully to bug the experts.
The other victim from my craigslist lot of junk .
I am assuming that this was based off a RC10T ( and bear in mind I have NEVER owned a Team Associated anything up to now )

The Abomination ( disregard the wheels all 4 are different )

Image

I am guessing the chassis is not Team Associated

Image

Image

RPM transmission case ( ? , I assume its stealth bolt pattern )

Image

Pretty sure I know where the motor mount came from ( A stamp , I would guess a caddy )

Image

Why I think its from a RC10T ( longer A arm than the gold pan )

Image

I am hoping I have enough pieces to get at least a hybrid gold pan ( It was a car I couldn't afford back in the day )

Feel free to educate me here

That's a Composite Craft LTO chassis and a RPM 1.96 ratio oval tranny conversion that uses Stealth internals. Those are standard buggy rear arms and newer-style buggy front arms.

Looking for an ID on these alloy wheels. 5-spoke directional pattern, similar to Kyosho Optima plastic rims. 2" diameter, captive pin drive, and all four are rear wheel size.

Looking to know who made them (commercial manufacture or back-yard), and what they suit (ie is it two pairs of rears, or are they designed to fit front and rear of a 4wd).

Would like to know, to advertise them properly....
