Saw that, I really like what that guy did.
check'd out RC10.com, couldn't figure out what the DS arm mounts look like, for now I am going to use th DS tower with some fabrication, I want to keep the wider stance of the regular rc10s with some toe in, for the rear I am planning for now to just use the stock tower a set of front shocks, maybe drill a different hole to mount the shocks at a different angle.jwscab wrote:the DS uses a different nose plate altogether, along with nose tubes, shock tower, arms and arm mounts. in the rear, you have the rear arms and dogbones/universals and shock tower. Check rc10.com under the manual section, under 'discontinued models' and compare the RC10 to the RC10DS manuals for pictures of the complete assembly.
In my opinion the viscosity won't make too much difference unless you're setting it up for one particular track or set up. I'd just go with a 35-40 all the way around. That's not to say that viscosity doesn't make a difference, but that's getting into some pretty fine tuning. I think what Johnny meant was just to look for some DS threads within the forums that already exist. You can probably just attach some fabricated stems to the bulkhead for rear shocks. Keep in mind that the shock towers don't necessarily have to be attached to each other in the rear.
