i.d. help needed on these 2

Post by klavy69 »

Got a couple of kyoshos I need help put a name to so I can sell them  . Thinkin I could get some useable parts off of either of them for my laser zxr and I really liked the body on the nitro but health and time has made a decision for me to 'narrow my vision' for now. First one I only have one picture of:

next is the nitro I picked up from another member here by the name of princesteve I think. Can't remember his ebay id but anyway, was a good sale on his part and just don't want to part the body off of this. I'll just have to find myself a mercedes DS body if I can sell these:

First one is a TF-4R Spider missing only the rear uprights (same as TF-5) and rear universals. Except for the front uprights, ball bearings, screws, and steering arms nothing is compatible with the Lazer. Instead, restore it and run (or sell) it. It's fast and apparently nearly indestructible. And also very rare.
I have a parts diagram somewhere, will see if I can upload it. The manual is not to be found anywhere on the net.

Second one is a GP Spider Mk. I, missing engine/pullstart and one belt. Again, fixing it is a better idea, as nearly no parts are Lazer-compatible.

Of course, the suspension arms of both transplant onto the Lazer with nearly no problems, but then you have a 280mm wheelbase 190-200 mm wide car onto which nearly no bodies fit.
