Klein 2701 Arm Hinge Pin Question

Post by Ronborsk »

My apologies if this has been made clear on other posts. I've searched and read threads over and over and my pea brain just can't grasp what I need to get.

Background. Revitalizing an old gold tub, replaced noseplate with narrow 10t and appropriate bulkhead and shock tower.

Purchased full set of Dynotech Klein arms, front and rear 2700 and 2701's.

Need to know what hinge pins to use in the front. (and rear if they are different)

Stock rc10 pins too short, what I have written down while researching was a couple of things which I may have noted incorrectly, lol. Here were a couple of things I noted which some may be wrong.

One person mentioned using ae 9622 hinge pins: These are not set up for e-clips so how the heck do they work?

Someone else mentioned to use 10t hinge pins, I noted these as ae 7209 which are 1.65" long.

I read somehwere else, which I don't have my arms in front of me, stated that front pin length needed to be 2.0" which I may have noted wrong.

Help me ob-wan kenobe you're my only hope... what's the solution? I need baby steps if I am to use 9622 pins..
