Happy New Year! Resolutions?

Post by THEYTOOKMYTHUMB »

Happy New Year everyone! Still an hour to go here in one of the few counties in Indiana on Central time. I'd love to say I'm at a wild party, but those days are long gone(thank god!). I really do wish the best to everyone. Just remember that life will always try to kick your ass. You have to make a conscious decision to be happy. It is a decision don't forget. You can't wait for happiness to land on your doorstep. If something good happens to someone else, it is not the same thing as something bad happening to you. Bitterness is the enemy. My fingers want to keep typing, but I will make them shut up now.

I so understand what you are saying. I have tried many times to reply to some posts on this forum and have had to stop myself.

The posts I did reply to, or ask questions about were either ignored or simply skipped and not answered.

I wish you all a fantastic new year, a Team AE new guy, an R/C lifer, a Losi for life runner.

Be good my friends, all of you!!

My resolution is to continue to be a happy and positive person and be the best father I can be. Let the small stuff slide and live life to the fullest. Oh. and get more cool toy cars.

Thanks Charlie, Not sure I worded that right. This site is in the top two of the R/C sites I use.

I think I might have stated that a little to strongly. It is all good here.

I must have typed that at a time when I was frustrated and looking for an answer to something R/C related.

Countless google searches and you know the information is there, but you just can't seem to nail it down.

The members here are actually a very positive group, compared to a few forums I have used years ago. Needless to say, I don't use them anymore.

Don't take it personal DiamondDave. At times there is not alot of traffic around here and other times people just don't want to admit they don't know...hell, I'll be the first to tell you I don't know alot about anything

I don't take it personal if I get no replies. Hell, a lot of the time people(myself included)just aren't in the mood to reply. I lead the way in topics started without a single reply. I actually enjoy them in an odd way. 8)

well between you and I it was a race there for awhile for 'thread killer' title. I could go down the list of 10 thread and see you or I with the last post on 8 outta 10 thread never to get any posts again  .

No shame there. I look at it this way: If you got the last word in, then you must be right...

my new years resolution is to learn to throw a frisbee better. half my throws my dog just ignores and stares at me as if to say, "you expect me to catch that? go get it yourself and throw it better." the other half of my throws she just ends up looking sillier than my throws.
