Front sway bar parts question

Post by aconsola »

I've never built or de-soldered a roll bar, are the ball studs threaded inside?
Are the front sway bar parts simply re-packaged dubro parts?
If so is this the correct parts pack for the ball stud:

and these for a multi pack of just the ball cups:

I picked up a couple packs of each at the lhs. The 4pack of rod ends looks much whiter than the old AE ones I have. the single ballcup packaged with the stud is more clear/translucent like the used rollbar I am trying to replace.

Thanks!

That's the right stuff.

The 1st part is also correct for the RC12L ride height adjuster. The tall ball stud is 4-40 thread internally. Yes, AE just repacked the DuBro stuff.

Thanks for the info. One more question, what is the proper size wire for making the bar?

"wing wire" for the rear, smaller for the front...
