Cougar 1/2 Famous Racers??

Hi Guys, Im going to start my re-build soon, just starting to think about paint for it.

What famous drivers raced the Cougar 1/2??

Any pictures would be great

I need some inspiration for paint jobs....

Unfortunately I never did get to race a Cougar of any kind back
In the day. I've driven and raced a handful of different incarnations over recent years though but I'm definitely not famous (thanks anyway Paul )
They are a very good racer though and mine have always been very reliable and fast enough.

Keep eyes on also for something different, Kevin used that Carlos Gonzales triangle style painting later during his Losi & TTech days. The first Kevin car that I have seen was gold and later he used white-red-blue painting.

There were probably more famous drives worldwide, but in the UK i remember Phil Davies and Kev Moore.

How about Jurgen Lautenbach.... of LRP fame? His shells of this era were white with a pink/red 'star' across the middle of the shell, there must be a pic somewhere in a race report in the scans section?

I was going to say Jurgen....I believe he was a co designer for the car and placed it quite high in some big races. Which races I cant remember....

Carlos Gonzales....a blast from the past! I used to race with him in the northwest (WA state). I wonder what he is doing now?
