Difficulty: ...Level 10! Nice! I will have sweet dreams tonight!

EDIT: Damn! I hate when my comment bumps a thread to the next page after a sweet picture run. I want my comments to stand though, so everyone go back a page.

Hey guys I have not forgotten this car. I have a chassis here at the house that is making my life easier in designing the parts for this car and I need to get the Chassis back to the owner (you know who you are, and I hope to get your chassis back to you with the other stuff very soon)

I have made some real progress in drafting so here is my attempt at the upper deck. I am really happy with the result and I think it should work great. There are some very distinct differences in the way this upper deck was made compared to the RPM upper. Once I get the lower chassis done, I plan to cut the pattern out of wood to test length, width and overall accuracy to the real car. I know I will need to make adjustments and it will take a few times to get it where I want.

I also have some other pretty big plans for the arms since they are no existent as well.

I just took a measurement of the width of this brace and it needs to be narrowed by at about 1/4 inch. After looking at it and comparing it to the pics, it is going to be too wide. I have to use existing parts in the pictures to get the right size and it is a pain in the rear.

made good progress on the chassis tonight. I still have a good amount of work left to do but it is starting to look pretty good. I am certain I will go through several versions before I am completely satisfied.
