pretty sad looking B3 eBay find....

Post by sheriff »

Purchased this on eBay, I'm thinking I'll probably strip it and use the shocks on my Yokomo Works 91 rebuild (when I get round to it!)

Came with a radio, nice retro charger, old Tekin Speedo, Schumacher 'Gold Rush' motor, and a few sets of wheels!

Eh it doesn't look too bad to me, I've seen much worse. I'm guessing you know the shocks are pretty rare
I'd fix it up and run it

What makes those so rare? Only ask as I have a set on a similar condition B3 that I just purchased.

Fix it up sheriff, that's what I'm planning to do with mine! :D

Maybe I'm wrong but the front shocks appear to be the longer gold .89's not the shorter .71's.

Thanks for comments. Teman and Peetbee, I probably will do it up now, the Yokomo is on eBay, so I'll eventually get the parts I need and get the B3 running :)

Lowrydesign, the charger is the Orion one, in the picture

Those shocks are rare but they are the B2 shocks, as mine were the same. Great car and wont take long to get the bits and do a rebuild.

those shocks shouldn't be too rare, they are just .89 gold fronts, 1.32" rears, top loaders.....
