Don't think the Kydex is going to take the dye. And if it will the boiling water will probably warp the part.

i don't think you can dye kydex. not to mention, it would probably flatten out in the hot water.

Got a couple of bottles of peroxide last night! Now all I need is a sunny day in Michigan! LOL
Here's my wheels & tires I scored for my build. :)

Anybody know if the rear wheels on Jay's car were stock AE or not?
Not too sure about these rear tires either? Read in a thread that he used a couple of different tires at his Worlds race. These are the Proline 109-R. Only the knobby pattern doesn't seem to look the same as any pics I've seen of his car?

Thanks SCR8P. Should I be trying to hunt down a set of AJ's?

Check that... Read Jason Read! LOL

"Tamiya Holiday Buggy tires (PN. 153)"
"AJ's/Twinn-K Inc. Off-Road Tire PN. 9719"

holiday buggy tires would be the way to go. but the aj's look the same, and parma has a version of those tires, too.

I noticed you had answered that question before in another thread. You veterians must get tired of answering the same old questions for us newbies. I did read a post somewhere that referred to the proline 109-R tire. I saw those on ebay, got excited and jumped on those thinking they were one of the tires used.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the info! One less item on my list!
Scored a brand new Futaba FP-S132H servo and have a lead on a Novak NESC-4 ESC. I know it's not a 1 but probably as close as I will be able to get.
