That Blizzard is awesome. They need to loose that cartoon skull on the back though, it's cheesy.

Agreed. Also they need to put a light or something on it so you can tell when it's running. It's so whisper quiet I could hardly tell.MelvinsArmy wrote:They need to loose that cartoon skull on the back though, it's cheesy.

That is very cool though. I'm glad there are modelers out there that do these sorts of projects.

Re: Anything Halloween!
Anyone heard of getting "Boo'd"? Apparently it's where a neighbor makes up a basket, sets it on your doorstep, rings the bell and takes off. You're supposed to then make a basket and put it on someone else's door. It comes with a sign that you're supposed to hang in your window so you don't get a second basket. I'd never heard of it, but my wife has. Knowing my luck I'll be attacked by a Doberman when I go to deliver the basket she makes. My 5 yr old didn't want to put the sign in the window in hopes that we get a second basket. I like the way she thinks...

And yes, some body part gummies in there. Must be the hot item...

Re: Anything Halloween!
Sorry, that last Halloween post I made was kinda lame.
My deepest apologies.

No it was cool, I've only heard of getting "Poo'd" before which involves a flaming bag left on a doorstep.

EDIT: Not one second from that trailer is in the actual movie.(BRILLIANT MARKETING!)THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:Not sure if anyone else is into horror or not, but I've been a fan ever since I could walk. The Paranormal Activity series is among the best of the non-slasher horror films ever(and I've seen most). Turn the lights out (as you should with all horror films).PA3 looks as promising as the first 2.

The Paranormal Activity series if watched properly(by yourself and in the dark)is the finest non-slasher horror series ever!

"The Orphan" is another good one when it comes to modern creep without gore BTW.

Anyway, Happy Holidays I suppose.

Re: Anything Halloween!(final update of 2011 added)
well our halloween was spent taking two of our dogs to a local pet costume contest. my border collie "kay-ak" went dressed as a sheep and took first place. the prize was a $35 off certificate for any grooming service which covers most grooming services. since we groom our own dogs we donated the prize to the next dog that gets adopted from the local shelter.
we also took our chinese crested "alex" who was dressed in a tiger outfit that my wife had made for him. he got 2nd place in the contest just a single vote shy of kay-ak. third place finished with less that half the votes of 2nd. we are very proud of them. they also finished 1st and 2nd at a dog show at the local fair back in the spring.
