A couple recent acquisitions

Post by Westcoast10z »

The mail man brought me a couple new toys this week.... 8)
Item one a nice lightly used ol' edinger buggy:

There's some front shock corrosion, the rear tires were shot (those are my other ones) and I'm gonna have to replace that cracked shock tower at some point, but overall I'm well pleased with the car. Love the period correct electronics and especially the battery!

The rear is in good shape, nice ol' gear cover. Don't think it ever had wing tubes installed, the protech that came with it has no wing holes. Love how thick the old protech body is, it's a tank!

And now for my unexpected score of the week... RC300BD
Ever since seeing reign79's AWESOME RC100 I have been coveting an old 1/8, so when this popped up I jumped:

Nice HP engine:

Any idea what these rear wheels are? Don't look like the Associated ones? Pardon my 1/8 noobage.
The rubber looks good on this car....
(edit) Mystery solved! The wheels (f&r) and rear axle/diff assembly are Thorpe. Thank you Reign79 for the info! 8) 8) 8)
