What color to use
What color to use
I'm painting my RC10 body using Fascolor Red and I wanted to know what color to use as a top coat. I know to use silver with white, but what about with red? thanks for the insight.

Re: What color to use
Silver backing will give it a bit darker color. For the brightest red use white.

Re: What color to use
Back it with white, then silver for the strongest colorfastness. Red is really hot and will bleed through anything, and most colors will bleed through red. Definitely back it with the lightest colors, then a dark color to keep the bleeding down to a minimum.
This car was trans red backed with chrome, backed with black... red is a tough one to make it pop.

Nice Doug, I love the Coke Autog sheet.
I am surprised Scr8p (Mr. Kyosho) didn't point out that those are NOT AE shocks on that RC10.

Anyone racing an RC10 in the 80s knew that Kyosho Golds were the ONLY shocks to have on your car.mrlexan wrote:Nice Doug, I love the Coke Autog sheet.
