Thunder Tiger wheels
This might of already been answered, but oh well. I know that Thunder Tiger bought out Team Associated a while back. They sell the Phoenix Bx which looks exactly like a b3. So my question is, will the Bx rear wheels work on the associated buggies with the "original" 1.5 hub, as long as they have the 3/16 axle? Does the wheel have the right off set?

Re: Thunder Tiger wheels
It is the "BX Nitro" rear wheels that seem to fit correctly on a stock B3; I have several sets in the various colors offered for the Phoenix...
I believe the electric "Phoenix BX" rear wheels are more like the offset of Associated B4 rear wheels.
I believe the fronts are all the same - they fit right on a B3, but, they are like Associated's B3 'narrow' fronts, NOT the more desirable 'wide' fronts...

Re: Thunder Tiger wheels
It's the other way around, the BX/BXII front wheels are the B4 offset yet the rears are the B3- I think that you are confusing it with the Evader

Yes, quite correct, I was confusing with Evader wheels - sorry...Charlie don't surf wrote:It's the other way around, the BX/BXII front wheels are the B4 offset yet the rears are the B3- I think that you are confusing it with the Evader

Re: Thunder Tiger wheels
How have these wheels been holding up compared to the Duratrax ones? Are they nylon or plastic.

Re: Thunder Tiger wheels
I have some. They are better than the Duratrax wheels for sure! They are not nylon, not sure what type of plastic they are!
