First RC10

Post by rcteesg »

Hey Guys,

New to the forum and hobby! Awesome site with tons of information.

I just picked up my first RC10 by chance, found a guy selling a few on my local Kijiji. I went over looking to pick up a nice newer model when I saw this in his collection. Drove away saying I'd think about it, 40 minutes later turned around picked it up. I think a great find at $40.

The Rims were made by the guy and he used to race it back in the day. I swapped the motor and control for a Castle creations Sidewinder SCT and this thing just fly's. I almost love it more than my Revo 3.3. Here are some pics I'd like to share with you guys...

Thanks

The wheels and the body made me fall in love with that thing. He also customized the front shocks so they sit super low as seen in the pics, almost horizontal.

RC104ever I would sell my Revo before i sell this car. I'm getting buried with this one :).

I'm not sure who made that body. I've been searching everywhere but cannot find a similar one. The buggy itself is a graphite RC10 with a mix of parts. Some truck some buggy. I have to clean up the inside and then I'll take some pics and post those as well.

Are you a photographer by profession by chance? Those shots are very artistic. Bravo.

Would love to see a few aerial shots of the car with the body off. That front shock customization looks wicked awesome. Reminds me of an on-road racer with how low it's sitting, and that front spoiler. What a gem!

Thanks for bringing it to the RC10talk family.

If I find out who made the body I will post here. Still searching but can't find a buggy body like this. My favorite part is where it continues on past the roof to under the spoiler. In the next set I'll get the body off and take some shots.

I do photography myself but I didn't have the proper lense to take those pics. I directed the shots :) and my friend did them with his camera.
