What version of Ultima are these?
What version of Ultima are these?
I was hoping someone could help me out, since I'm not too familiar with the Ultima series.
I trying to find out which versions of Ultima are featured in each of the 2 photos.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: What version of Ultima are these?
first is the european version of the pro: for the us market they used another chassis. Not sure about asia, but in Europe it came with this hardanodised brownish alu chassis.
Front rims look like wild-one's, probably on crp axles for 5mm tamiya bearings.

Mr. Ed is right on the European Ultima Pro.
That second one is actually a standard Ultima with optional Gold shocks & rear motor guard. The Turbo came with sway bars, Platinum shocks, fiberglass radio plate, & shock towers. The motor plate was optional.
I've had a Turbo Ultima since it was bought new over 20+ years ago.

Projects and shelfers:
Late Edinger, RC10B2, Dual Sport, GT, Kyosho Turbo Ultima, Triumph, Tamiya Sand Scorcher, Blackfoot/Monster Beetle, '67 Beetle, Nikko Rhino, Traxxas Fiero, Slash, Hand-built Dune Buggy..all on here somewhere...

Re: What version of Ultima are these?
The fiber glass shocktowers are there, and the chassis looks to be the 3mm brownish one also. But the wheels are from the original ultima indeed. The gold shocks don't belong on neither the original or turbo ultima actually

Re: What version of Ultima are these?
The second one is hard to tell. It has Turbo Ultima chassis and shock towers. Standard Ultima radio plate and camber links. Gold shocks from ?. Deleted sway bars.
Does it have a ball diff or gear diff?
I'd guess it was pieced together from various cars, or started off as an original Ultima with a bunch of Kyosho option parts added.
