jrx2 instruction manual paint?

was wondering if anyone had a color picture of the jrx2 instruction manual paint job. Fixing to paint me up a shelfer and a runner and was curious what it looked like.

The original manual is in black and white. You'd need pics of box to help you which I happen to carry with me where ever I roam:lol: .

i think the car in the manual has a completely different paint scheme.

that is correct and there are no templates or directions specifically to help recreate it.

if i had to guess, i'd say they're the same colors as the junior 2 boxart. blue, white, yellow. it's pretty easy to see where the colors go, even in black and white.

For some reason mentally I've always pictured it as being brown with the stripes being yellow and white. Basically the Revolution motor decal colors. That always just seemed to make sense to me.

Thanks for the help. I had a feeling the lighter colors were yellow and white since they seemed to like those 2 colors. Still curious on the darker one, I think blue is pretty likely as well. I'm trying to picture what brown would look like, it would def give it a vintage look, don't see too many brown r/c cars.

I swear I've seen color photos of that car in the manual in my old magazines. I think it was a dark blue or purple with white and yellow stripes. I'll be sure to post a scan if I find one.

Edit: Maybe I'm thinking of the Junior 2 that was painted in these colors?
