Pargu's alloy arms installed

Post by madmaxx »

Hey guys , i thought you will like to see these arm installed... pretty nice in my opinion, you can order these anodized if you want ,i got the plain ones cuz i like the black/aluminum ''Terminator'' look, currently pargu2000 has two models available, the ones i have i will call them model 1 now with this been said... model one has the holes drilled for the sway bar mounting hardware due to the style of model 2 these holes are not provided so if you want to keep your sway bars... model 1 is the way to go. Here are some pics...

they look good, i was going to get a set for my perfect javelin and get them anodized gold to match, but pargu's anodizing is really light. i swear i would never restore another optima unless i got a steal on ebay for under $100 bucks like my javelin

Looks good, madmaxx, and you've confirmed my doubts about pargu's arms lacking the mounting holes for the stabilizer assemblies. It appears he's seen this "oversight" and now offers 2 models. He probably should've just drilled 'em from the start so they'd work on all the Optima series, not just the original Optima/Javelin.

If you have the time to waste, I'd probably polish up the arms and also the blue Lazer front hubs. I sprayed the hubs liberally with Easy-Off until all the blue anodize fell off, then you can rinse them off with hot water and begin sanding with 400-grit to get a basic polish. Up the grit wet-sandings to 600, 800 and 1000 and those hubs will look really nice. They could then be clear-coated to protect the finish, or sent somewhere to be anodized any other color.
