RC10 B4.1 brushless braking problem

RC10 B4.1 brushless braking problem
I picked up a new B4.1 brushless RTR package this week. It's driving awsome running on a 5500mah 35C 2s lipo. Feels much more powerful than my tamiya grasshopper did in 1989.
Anyway this is running the standard issue digital radio in the RTR package as with the standard 3300kv brushless motor. When needing to slow down weather it be on the road or wherever it locks both back wheels. Big rear wheel lockups at full speed are not fun. There is no feathering the brake to slowly decelerate. How can I adjust this correctly.
I'm yet to get on the dirt track so I'm wondering how bad it would be if it's this unstable under brake on road.

Yes I have turned the LO throttle atv to the minimum which minimally helps but not enough to stop massive rear wheel lockups. I have also done the throttle calibration on the ESC etc. ???
I have done the throttle calibration with the HI and LO atv at the centre positions on theit dials. What if I put the brake atv trim at max when doing the throttle calibration , then I may have more range to lower the brake trim?

Just for the heck of it why not go back and reset your esc? It seems like when it was initially set the trigger was in motion or such and this may be why you are getting so much brake suddenly. The setup as described in the manual starts the process off with the throttle on full before turning on esc. I guess that there is no uniform setup procedure.

You need to adjust the throttles end point adjustment. This will decrease the amount of breaking used. I thought the atv adjusts the curve of the breaking similar to exponential. -Jeff

Hello all,
I hit exactly the same problem on my second hand RC10 B4.1, the brake was blocking wheels !
I tried all recommended setup on transmitter but it was unsuccessful.
Then I look at the RC10 T4.1 of my girl's friend son(same Tx, Rx, ESC, Motor between the two models), and the brake was operating well on T4.1!
So I binded the Truck transmitter on the Buggy and discovered that the problem was still present with a verified transmitter.
Conclusion: the problem is coming from the buggy itself and not the transmitter.
On the buggy, the ESC is closed, not programable and the Engine can't be touch !
Looking deeper of wires connections between ESC and motor, cables are blue with M as reference on ESC for the three cables, I noticed that it was linked differently between the two models, so I wired the Buggy as same as the Truck and now miracle, it's working, brake became proportional.
Solution: only wire M referenced cables(in blue) with Motor cables(Yellow, Red, Black).
ESC Wire View: M - M + M
Motor : Yell Red Black
Strange that this solution is available anywhere, that's the reason why I post it here.
