What shell for B3 Team

Post by rc944 »

Has the lower profile rear shock mount so wondering if anyone knows what aftermarket shells might be a good fit?

I can take a pic of the deja vu and compare it to a b2 shell-

can't you just use a standard b3 body? how much shorter can the team tower be?

thats the question i have no answer to! im wondering if there will be enough sill or whether the bottom of the shell comes up short and shows the vertical side of the chassis?

I'm wondering the same thing. I have a couple of different sized rear shock towers along with a few B3 bodies that are not labeled. I don't know which is which.

a new b3 shell only costs like $14.00. so, it's not like it's a huge loss if it wouldn't work.

in my opinion, the only thing that should be different between the 2 would be the height of the roof at the shock tower. the body sides should have nothing to do with it.

Living over the atlantic means i get stuffed when it comes to postage but i think you must be right about the height

however, today i managed to secure a protoform blast 2 shell which looks great but i expect it wont fit

will keep all posted on results!
