

THAT is a decent idea... I've had perfectly good bodies ruined on shelf queens from pack "vapor" mold, crud, asbestos, plutonium, or whatever comes off those things when they store for 15-30 years...aconsola wrote:cheat: prepare a display pack. heat and solder the ends of the 1" braid sections on a hard flat surface so they look like they have been soldered onto a battery. Allow to fully cool. then assemble with a thin film of silicone sealant between the back of the braid and the battery terminal. It should make a nice simulated pack for a shelfer and silicone can be easily removed from the cells if you change your mind.
