Newby saying hi with a graphite team car

Hey guys,

Always been a big Associated fan but only raced on-road back in the day with an RC10L2. I have NOS shelf queen gold pan on my desk at work that I spend most of my day staring at!

I purchased a graphite team car a bit ago and took it to the track a week or so ago. It has a Peak Performance Animal modified, not sure of the wind, was shocked at how well it handled and performed against new cars, there was a B4, SC10 and a few other modern cars, it totally stuck with through most of the track and I finally worked out the line to take the doubles with it's pissy motor!! The new brusless cars have the torque to just leap! Anyway, LOVE the car even more. Going to keep it a runner, get some better tyres, hotter motor, a bumper and new shell.

Welcome to the board, that's a good start, graphite Team Car, NER RX, 410 ESC, one of the finest radios ever made, no wonder you can keep up with the new cars :)
