Battery Tie Down Options?

Post by RC104ever »

So with my new 8.4V Humpcell battery, its too big to fit with the old battery holders so I had to make a temporary one with some spare parts lying around. But its not ideal as it doesn't hold it very securely. So I was wondering what else is available out there that I can retrofit into my RC10 gold pan buggy?

You can always resolder the cells into the configuration you need.

Too lazy to do that ;)

All I really need is something to hold it in place. The one end does fit snugly into the rear bulkhead area. Just need something to hold the front in place.

I saw those on the Tower Hobbies site but how do you fix the velcro to the car???? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

well anything you can bolt flat on the chassis you can slide the velcro strap under. I would start maybe with the old battery hold down bars one on each side with the velcro going underneath it
