Re: Nomadio React
I've been planning to get one for a while.
Right now Ihave a 3pjs with the spektrum system. I love the mixing . no more y-harness for 4ws on the trucks, and I can switch on the flbetween 4ws and 2ws with rear lockout. The nomadio can do the same I'm told.
Once build my toy-fund back up, the react and some telemetry add-ons are next on the list.

Re: Nomadio React
how does the whole spektrum thing work with the futaba stuff? words like modules and all that scare me away...
i have an old futaba 3pdf that i love, if there was just a way to update it to run the spektrum signal that would be killer.

Re: Nomadio React
i do like the layout futaba uses, too bad in the past few months i've bought 2 spektrums and a react...
fyi, for anybody wanting a 3channel spektrum, do not get the dx3.0, get the dx3. the 3rd channel on the dx3.0 is VERY limited. (thats why i ended up getting the react.)
apex, thanks for helping me see the light awhile back by making that comment about my carbon tub car. even though you hurt my feelings, it was those comments that made me get serious about the elecs.
i still dont like the deans, although all my new rigs have them. they are just too hard to get ahold of... but they are nice. i wish there was some sort of jig available for soldering them up, or i had an extra hand.

Call it tough love or an R/C intervention.badhoopty wrote:apex, thanks for helping me see the light awhile back by making that comment about my carbon tub car. even though you hurt my feelings, it was those comments that made me get serious about the elecs.![]()

Servo tape them to something solid like the workbench or a toolbox, then do your soldering. A cheap "third hand" tool always helps, too. You can find them at dollar sotres sometimes, too. You'll be surprised at how easy it is to solder up electronics when they don't move around.i still dont like the deans, although all my new rigs have them. they are just too hard to get ahold of... but they are nice. i wish there was some sort of jig available for soldering them up, or i had an extra hand.
