Multiplex Transmiter form the late 90's
Does anyone remember or own the Multiplex transmitter that looked like a taser from Startrec.. it was turquoice on top and grey on the bottom....I always wanted one and kept asking my local hobby shop to get me one but they always said it wasn't out yet... I finally got tired of waiting and baught a Airtronics M8.... Did Multiplex ever release it? I remember seeing pics in RC Car Action and ads but never the real thing...does anyone know what im talking about?

Is this vintage really? I bought mine like 5 or 6 years ago from a LHS. It is still my current radio, but I have the "synthetized" version that doesn't use crystals. I've always been happy with it, works great with a lot of fine tuning possibilities. So, why is it so attractive?

well tbh it's a much underestimated radio, has all the bells and whistles of a KO or Futaba but half the price and good multiplex engineering in there. It's their last car radio before Hitec bought them out

One must wear pointy ears if one uses it

Re: Multiplex Transmiter form the late 90's
I bought this transmitter when I had a problem with my KO EX1 Mars. In my opinion the only good thing with this Multiplex is the low weight and yes it´s working. But you can´t compare this with something real good as a KO.
