what Kyosho 4WD buggy is this?

Post by V12 »

I saw this old Kyosho 4WD buggy with chaindrive but have no clue what this is. Someone knows this car and how old this could be?
I know the Optima and Turbo Optima as I have run them in the past but don´t know other Koysho cars very well.

Looks like a gallop MKII. Made in the 80's.

Yup, but the MKII is the only one with dual front shocks.

Yep, Gallop Mk2. Definately!

There were many parts exclusive to the Mk2 which werent on the previous Gallop and Progress models such as-

*Firbreglass radio tray.
*Rear cage section.
*Front shock mounts.
*Bumper.
*Gold dampers on all four corners.
*Steering bell cranks were 'beefed up'.
*New lexan shell

-and some other small odds and ends.
