I'm getting a little further with the electronics. I have never connected cells together before, so if anyone have any tips or suggestions they are gladly welcome.

Beside the battery, all that is left is to get the servo saver and turnbuckles :D

I got a Ballistic 3.5T brushless motor on sale for 50% off so I figured I would just dial it down with the radio, but oh the potential for this thing to take lift off :shock:

Looks awesome man, good work!

You could use wire for the cells, but it's best to get some battery bars to solder the sub c cells together (google battery bars, you'll find them quick)
As for the circuit layout, the best diagrams I've seen is in the rc12l "instruction manual" here:
