Quesion about nose plate width

Post by AYKBOBCAT »

I've seen on ebay and here that some nose plates seems to be wider than all the ones I own. Why is that? what model used the wide plate? was that used with the short front arms only?

Can someone post a comparative picture? Thanks

ya, hot trick made a wider nose plate and shock tower to use with the short front arms. it'll more or less give you the same track with as a stock rc10 with the wide arms.

like Scr8p said that black front kick-up was made by Hot Trick, they also made it in anodized red. It was released before there was any large front a-arms

Asso_man, it looks like your front arms are on upside down... Shouldn't the inner hinge pins be on the top, and the outer on the bottom :?:

I don't know actually, I scanned the instruction sheet from the HT rear arms, and it seems to say that you can choose depending you want to go off-road or onroad, the scan is my HT thread, have a look at it and tell me what you think... Anyway, it's not supposed to be ridden :D

It just looked "wrong" from a stress/loading perspective... I wouldn't ride it either.

i have no idea how the hot trick arms mount either. i've tried them both ways, and neither seemed like it was the way it should be.
