I'm going to be using the Atlas metal rear A-arms. Would the above part work on my goldpan and those A-arms? If so, which cvd's would correlate?

ya, you can use them. for cvd's, you'd have to use cvd's for the original rc10, or the b2/b3. either will work, but it'll depend on what wheels you plan to use as to which set would be the best ones to get. 1/4" or 3/16" axles.

Hopefully someone can answer this. I've got the RPM wide rear arms on the stock arm mounts and have the Losi 2038 hubs. I'm using B44 rear CVA's. It all fits just fine and doesn't bind. However the rear end is too narrow with B4 wheels. It is better with Losi wheels (1/16" different offset) and perfect with Traxxas wheels (1/16" offset from the Losi, 1/8" from the B4). I am curious about using XXX-VLA rear hubs as I can get the 1/8" extra width from the rear end and then use the B4 wheels but the problem then becomes the CVA's. Is there a CVA/CVD that is only about 1/8" longer than the B44 rear CVA's?

Nope I hadn't seen that thread so thanks for the link. Much of the information in that thread ended up being used in cars on this thread so much of the info is the same. It does confirm that the rear of my car is narrower than max width though. I think I'll go ahead and try the XXX VLA rear hubs with the B4 CVD's. If it works then we'll have another option.

yes, that's true that the ending solution is pretty much the 'old is new' formula, but there were a bunch of things tried along the way, and well documented in that thread, so it kind of shows the evolution and options available.

the vla parts should do what you need. You can also check how B4 hubs would work, and there are also b3 hubs, which I think are in the middle between stock rc10 and b4. Not sure how that compares to the losi 2038 hub though.

I already have the RPM world's arms, stock arm mounts, B44 cvd's, 2038's and wheel spacers. I can't get the wheels out any farther on the axle without redrilling the pin hole. The back end is still too narrow with B4 wheels. With Losi rear wheels it is better but still slightly narrow. The B4 rear wheels make the rear end too narrow. I want it at least 9.75" wide in back which is still just under the limit. I can run Traxxas rear wheels now to get max legal width. If the VLA hubs don't work out then I'll just run the Losi rear wheels.

I've got the B4 spacers behind the pins on the rear axles. I can't move them out any farther as the CVD's are already against the inner bearing. How can I just space the rear wheels out?
