Re: TOPCAT
Congrats! I have recently made a plate which stretches from one side to the other on top. Screwed in at each side it does away with the crash back system.
It took me years to finaly succumb to this concept as I like the crash back system. Unfortunately the bands break too easily and this can ruin your day at the track. Also locking out the crash back feature will elliminate all the slop and stop the front end from collecting rocks/debris on landings from jumps. My front end was wedged open on a few occassions like this.

Re: TOPCAT
I here what you guys are syaing for racing, but the snap back did save me in a practice run the other day. I don't race mine so I kind of like it. I found some rubber o-rings at local hardwsare store that work fine.

Re: TOPCAT
Yes it is a good system if it is setup right. If your running on a track with uber jumps or any tubing or wood on it then it makes sense. However, if your running on a track that is pretty open like I am then it is more of a hassle.
As I found out today if you are hit by a flying HPI Baja 5 then it really does not matter one way or the other.

I'm pretty sure TBG do one, keep an eye on eBay.
