I see.... What is the total lenght of the body? I can't figure it out because the lenght between the two vertical lines is not there. On the other hand you added some thta I forgot to put
It looks like it would fit but that the nose would be too narrow as you say...
Hopefully someone will do the same as you did with another shell so I can find one Thanks a lot!
By the way, to whoever is using the sand viper or the other one alike that I forget the name.. I would love to get measures for that one. I like that shell.

I cut up my desert gator for a narrow look on my ultima, so not many dimensions to share.
But the ones i got are not encouraging:
- length from back of cockpit ( against shockstay) to nose tip 26 cm, or 4 cm short of what you need.
It might be just a bit longer but not much: I'm quite sure I didn't remove much in this area.
- The nose is narrowing down from 6cm at 8cm from the nose tip to 4 cm at the the nose tip
The sand viper will be almost the same lengthwise but has a narrower nose even.
I think a losi, JR X2 or more recent will fit better or you could move away from buggy to (stadium) truck, classic, ...
Before I forget: I think this a super-cool project.
Don't dare giving up on it yet.

Thanks for the info I realy appreciate it. Don't worry I can be patient for this kind of stuff. I have other projects to keep me busy when one get stuck as it is the case for this one. I think I may have to take it to a hobby shop one day and try to see what could fit eventually... All I need really is a relatively LONG nose buggy shell

Re: THE BLACK THING (T2 hybrid...) NEED HELP WITH BODY!!!!
Bringing back a not so forgotten thread I hope? I started working on a similar project and was wondering if anything might fit a T2 chassis buggy? I realized that with the nose plate in the shortest configuration, the car still pretty much has a truck wheelbase. I only have Associated buggies and tried their bodies from the original rc10 styles to a B4 with no luck. I'm pretty sure the losi bodies have a nose that is too narrow and haven't yet looked at any tamiya bodies. Any advice guys? Thanks!
Old school racing all the way!

Well well
My in on the shelf since quite a while. I did not abandon it but I started building another one. I still don't have a body for it. The Associated ones are definitely too short. there must be a Tamiya one or from another brand that would fit.
Didn't Schumacher made long wheel base buggies at one point? Waybe a 4wd buggy body would work?

You may wanna take a look at the Traxxas Bandit.
Don't know if it fits, but should be cheap and easy to find.
