My RC10t from way back

Post by rcgerber »

Hey just thought i would jump on here, after lurking for a while, and post my RC10t from when I was a kid. I think I'm going to start running this again since it doesn't look like the t4 is all that much different size wise. Can't wait to trow in some new modern electronics into this thing. Has these short course trucks taken over the stadium truck category at tracks?

Upgrades are
RPM rear arms and shock tower
mip cvds
T2 front arms
Dahms slammer body and a proline T3 Dodge body.

You can also see my rc10 ce in the first pic and in the buggy forum.

Finally finished the rebuild/clean up on my truck. I didn't go as far as some, whitening the the nylon or redoing the chassis. In the end it's a runner and I plan on racing it again so I didn't think going to those extremes were necessary. I ended up reusing a few parts that will need to be replace eventually, but I'm anxious to get it running so I put those on a to do list. Next up is painting the new body, although the body I bought isn't going to fit so I'm going to see if I can find another one of the Proline T3 Dodge bodies.

Good to see its gonna be run again. Those rear cross pins should hook up good yet. Even with the pins gone the crosses seemed to get all around good traction. Whatcha gonna put in it for electrics?

I'm doing this on the cheap so I got a Hobby Wing ESC with a Tacon 13.5T brushless motor. The stadium class at my local track runs only 13.5 so that is why I went that turn. Not to mention I think the 13.5 is mild enough to not blow out the Stealth trans.
