Re: We all should be so lucky!
No one thinks this is interesting? I would have thought that at least the paintwork would be of interest. Oh well.
Re: We all should be so lucky!
I unquestionably think that it's interesting - appears to have come from a time capsule and that makes it even more special!
As the folks on that forum said - I would build a display case for it, keep it out of direct sun light and enjoy it forever! The display case idea is one of those things that I need to do for a few of my 'shelf queens' - somehow it doesn't seem appropriate for them to live in oversized storage bags in my basement! In my case, I'd like to come up with a furniture grade display case that is big enough to allow the matching radios to be displayed. Everything I have done to date can be run but WON'T be run. I've finished a 1986 era race RC10 with a Tekin speed control, 132 servo and Futaba receiver along with a Losi JrX2 that contains parts from the original cars that I purchased for my son and I the first day they arrived in Kansas City. In addition, I have 2 seemingly brand new Yokomo 834Bs that I cherish!
It's so much fun to restore and preserve these old vehicles!
