Different Bodies on the 10T

Post by sneako43 »

I'm not sure if there has been a thread similiar to this or not. If there is, please direct me to it.

I've been thinking about changing the body on my 10T but would like to see what other member's have done (read that as "I'm going to steal your idea").

I'm not sure what bodies fit with the RPM adjustable mounts....I'm guessing adding different sized posts would allow for a variety of bodies.

the JC illusion and highflow fit with a modifcation of using the B4 wingmounts in the rear as body posts- the T2 direct fit, and the 6130 & 6122 stock shells as well-

I have done all of the above, but the best looking to me is the 6122 stock ( MrLexan Re-pop )

I use a T2 body now, I forgot to mention that. Thanks for the tip about using the B4 mounts with the new bodies. I've seen those used in a lot of the "Old is New" builds for buggies but never noticed them being used on trucks.

Anybody using non-truck bodies?

i use an rc10gt body... not a perfect fit, or really an ok fit. but it saves my shocktowers when i flip the 10t. i kinda wanna put a more modern looking top on mine, not space truck, but like a newer dodge body like on parmas site...

I remember a while back someone used a T4 interceptor body. IIRC the only mod needed was slightly extended body posts in the rear.

This is my 10T with a T3 body, I only added some spacers to move the rear mount further back.
